Chelsea are reportedly prepared to pay around £21m for Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla.
The 20-year-old, who has found back of the net once in 19 games for his Italian team this campaign, is believed to be a transfer target for both Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Red Devils were allegedly recently told that an offer of just shy of £23m would be required in order to lure talented defender away from Serie A outfits.
According to L’Arena, the Blues are determined to lure the centre-back to the Premier League for the 2020-21 season and are prepared to offer £21m for his signature.
Inter Milan and Manchester are also believed to be interested in securing the services of the Albania international, who has a deal with his current team until the summer of 2022.
Kumbulla came through the youth system at Verona before debuting in August 2018.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Barcelona full-back Marc Cucurella who has been on loan at Getafe this season.
The 21-year-old is currently having an impressive loan spell at Getafe and has played 34 games during the 2019-20 season, founding back of the net once and provided five assists.
Getafe allegedly have the option to secure the services of the Spaniard on a permanent deal in the summer, however, according to Sport, the Blues are also in the hunt for the left-back.
The report suggests that the Catalan club are ready to accept offers in the region of €25m (£22.7m), making Spain U-21 defender a cheaper option than the likes of Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell and Porto’s Alex Telles.
