Chelsea determined to sign Argentine International forward this summer

Premier League giants Man City and Chelsea are reportedly willing to spend big to beat Spanish giants Barcelona to the signing of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

The 22-year-old forward is a confirmed target for Spanish giants Barca due to his fine form since joining Inter Milan from Racing back in 2018.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are also rumoured to have lined up a move for the Argentine international forward, who has found back of the net 16 times in all competitions this season.

However, Spanish outlet Sport reports that the Blues and the Citizens have now entered the running for the Argentina international star.

Martinez has a £100m release clause in his current deal at Inter Milan and the report claims that the Premier League giants are prepared to break the bank to lure him away from San Siro.

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have both previously publicly backed their team’s pursuit of Lautaro Martinez.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Arsenal are amongst the top European clubs that are interested in a move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Kays Ruiz-Atil. U17 Morocco international is a regular feature in Parisians UEFA Youth League team, the central midfielder has played five matches in the tournament this campaign.

Kays’ current deal with the French club runs until June 2021, the talented teenager has reportedly turned down the Ligue 1 champions’ first offer of renewal. Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are also keeping tabs on Ruiz-Atil. The 17-year-old midfielder left Barcelona’s world-famous academy to join the Ligue 1 giants in 2015.
