Premier League giants, Chelsea have reportedly been handed a huge boost in their attempts to secure services of Wilfried Zaha, with the Crystal Palace forward linking up with super-agent Pini Zahavi.
The former Manchester United forward was heavily linked with both Everton and Arsenal during the summer transfer window, however, ultimately remained at Selhurst Park.
The Ivory Coast international is allegedly a target for the Blues during this month’s window, though, and according to the Daily Mail, the West London club are in a strong position to secure his services.
The report suggested that Ivorian forward has signed up with Israeli agent Zahavi, who has a strong relationship with a number of a key man at Chelsea, including Roman Abramovich who owns the club.
Ex-Manchester United attacker split with long-term agent Will Salthouse in 2019 having been frustrated that a move away from Crystal Palace last summer did not transpire.
Frank Lampard’s side are allegedly preparing to target Zaha this month, although the Eagles are still looking for a figure in the region of £80m for their main man who is contracted to the club until June 2023.
Frank Lampard’s team are also expected to move for a new striker this month
