Maurizio Sarri tells Chelsea board to keep close tabs on £35m target full-back

According to the latest transfer reports from The Telegraph, OGC Nice right-back Youcef Atal has reportedly emerged as a summer target for Maurizio Sarri.

The West London club are currently facing a two-window transfer ban, however, the Premier League giants continue to be rumoured with possible summer additions.

As per the same sources, Algerian ace Atal has been identified as a player who the Blues wish to pursue ahead of the 2018/19 season.

The 22-year-old – who can also play in midfield – has managed to found back of the net six times from 25 appearances in Ligue 1 during the current season.

However, the report claimed that any interested club will have to be prepared they will have to pay £35m in order to tempt Nice to sell their wonderkid.

The Algeria international still has over four years left on his current deal and Nice have been in excellent position ahead of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are desperate to strengthen their right-back options and if they miss out signing Atal there are several targets the Blues board are keeping close tabs on.

It is believed that Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Van-Bisaka and Napoli star Elseid Hysaj are firmly on Maurizio Sarri’s transfer wishlist for the summer.
