According to the latest transfer news, Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has already held talks with Eden Hazard and the Chelsea forward has agreed to join Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old Hazard has made no secret of his desire to play for Madrid and has often spoken about his adoration of Zidane. Chelsea face a difficult decision this summer as Hazard will have just a year remaining on his contract, which means he could leave on a free transfer in 2020 if he refuses to sign a new deal.
The Blues face a further headache as they will be unable to sign a replacement for Hazard unless they can delay or overturn their transfer ban for the next two windows.
But Sport report that Hazard has now agreed to join Madrid and that the decision to re-appoint Zidane as manager has influenced the Belgian. It’s reported that Hazard has said ‘yes’ to a five-year contract with Madrid and will become the club’s highest-paid player.
Chelsea, however, have set a £98.5 million asking price for Hazard and are reportedly open to selling the 28-year-old.
